An unfortunate accident on Akosombo High Way claimed seven people to leave their lives to haunt while a fast Sprinter bus crashed into Faulty Tipper Truck.

The bus with registration number GN 8209-15 carried 16 passengers and the incorrect stationery Kipper with registration number GN 2064-14 at Kpong.

The incident, which took place on New Year’s Eve in Kpong from the Akosombo to the Tema Highway, killed seven passengers who died on the spot, and the rest with various degrees of injuries.

The remaining nine passengers who sustained life-threatening injuries were taken to the St. Martins de Porres Hospital rushed.
