Nollywood actor and filmmaker Afeez Owo has been called out on social media to share a photo of the body of actress Folake Aremu, or Orisabunmi.
Remember I was yesterdayit was reported that 60-year-old Yoruba actress Folake Aremu, commonly known as Orisabunmi, died Tuesday night at 11pm after a short illness.
Her death comes four months after the death of ex-husband Jimoh Aliu, better known as Aworo.
Afeez Owo lamented her moments ago on Instagram and shared a photo of her body in a coffin, and many of his followers find it quite offensive.
One Captain Ade wrote: ‘It’s so wrong to post these kinds of photos. Please take it off, sir, because it’s not even good for the face. We did not see any of her messages on your pages when she was alive. Kindly pull off this picture, it is demeaning and let the dead rest.
While a Temitope was responding to Captain Ade, he wrote ‘exactly what I said, win dey is a life, they should not post, win dey died dey start doing eye services, stupid industry’
One Ike wrote “This photo is wrong ooo … the person in the coffin is not orisa bunmi …”
