Bobby Shmurda to be released from prison after serving more than six years behind bars


Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda (real name Ackquille Pollard) could leave prison next month after serving more than 6 years in prison.


Police officers have announced that Bobby Shmurda could leave prison next month after being jailed for conspiracy and possession of a weapon at the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, New York.

Shmurda was on parole in September, but was denied disciplinary action for disciplinary action.

He could now be released on February 23 and will serve the remainder of his sentence until December 11 on acquittal, New York police announced.

The “Hot N – a” rapper has been serving since December 2014, when he was initially charged with conspiracy to murder, possession of a weapon and reckless threat.

He was sentenced to seven years in prison after accepting an agreement to plead guilty to conspiracy in the 4th degree and possession of a second degree criminal weapon.

The sentencing at the Supreme Court in Manhattan was marked by drama, and Pollard apparently said:

“I was forced to take this sentence, and I did not want to take the sentence. My lawyer forced me to accept this plea. ”

Back in 2018, Shmurda called in This is 50 for a phone interview where he talked about his possible release in 2020.

“If I get out, we’ll get everything right. I have two years, 2020, ”the 26-year-old rapper said at the time. “You know how it goes. I like to see real n – like doing their thing with more constructive -. I hope many mothers learn from me. ”
