Remember we reported earlier that the singer advised people coming from the eastern part of Nigeria to stop traveling home for Christmas because it is a primitive behavior.
In a tweet he shared on his official Twitter handle on Monday, January 4, the singer said Yuletide is an unsafe period to travel home.
His tweet was made in response to people losing their lives while traveling to their homes for Christmas celebrations.
However, the upcoming artist has now offered an apology to Eastern Nigerians over his insensitive tweet.
According to him, he was controlled by his emotions while making his earlier tweet after two of his friends who were traveling for Christmas died in a car accident when they returned to town.
He wrote, ‘I believe my tweet that has now been removed was misunderstood because it was an emotional tweet. This morning, 2 friends died on their journey back from town. I think the roads are too risky for everyone to drive home and back. If you are hurt, I sincerely apologize. ”
