The 55-year-old American rapper and music producer, Andre Romelle Young, known as Dr. Dre allegedly paid his ex-wife Nicole Young $ 2 million in temporary marital support while recovering from a brain aneurysm in a Los Angeles hospital.
According to legal documents filed on Wednesday, December 6, the mega-producer approved the payment of $ 2 million from his hospital bed.
Dr. Dre contracted a brain aneurysm on Monday, December 4, and was rushed by ambulance to Cedars and taken directly to the ICU, where he “rests comfortably” according to his lawyer.
A trial over the couple’s divorce was heard in a courtroom on Wednesday, December 6.
Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, was represented in court by his lawyers.
The judge adjourned the divorce proceedings to a later date to allow Dre time to recover from his brain injury.
According to the agreement, obtained by The Blast, Nicole will receive $ 2 million by Monday and she will be responsible for covering her living expenses and legal fees.
As reported, Nicole wants $ 2 million a month in temporary marriage support plus $ 5 million in legal fees.
