Rawlings Death: The Government of the Republic of Ghana has indefinitely postponed the final funeral rites for the country’s statesman, the late former President Jerry John Rawlings, because of family misunderstandings or family feuds better circumvented the funeral regulations.

The misunderstanding broke out between the Awadada of Anlo State, Agbotui and the Allied family of Jerry John Rawlings.
So the government thinks it would be fun to leave the two families to sort out the difference between them before honoring the late president with a rigid funeral and a funeral.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration to the international community and diplomatic missions announced that the date set for the funeral could not be kept.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the funeral will not take place as planned from December 20, 2020.” Part of the statement is.
The former president died at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra on Thursday, November 12, 2020.
December 20, 2020 was the date originally scheduled for his final funeral right.
Until another official date becomes known, Mr. Rawlings’ funeral right has not yet been finalized.
