Ghanaians living in Washington take to the streets to protest election results [Video]

Amid the hubbub over the just concluded elections, some Ghanaians living in the United States of America have also taken to the streets to protest the election results.

There was chaos after the EC declared the final election results which cast Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo as President-elect of Ghana.

After the declaration, some supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) took to the streets to protest what they believe to be “fraudulent” results, instructing the EC to declare the real results.


According to them, they believe their main member, John Dramani Mahama is supposed to be the elected president of Ghana, but the EC has plotted with the ruling NPP to rig the elections in their favor.

John Dramani Mahama, in a press meeting with the media, said his party would resist any attempt to overthrow the will of the people, adding that the people voted for change and therefore was supposed to be the president elected from Ghana. .

However, we came across a video that captures Ghanaians living in Washington protesting against the election results.

In the video, Ghanaians in the United States are heard calling President Nana Akufo-Addo, Vice President Bawumia and his proxies liars and thieves.
