John Dramani Mahama, a senior member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has promised not to do anything to destroy peace and stability in Ghana.

Speaking to VOA, he said that while he is not satisfied with the election results announced by Ghana’s electoral commission on December 9, 2020, he does not want to be the reason the country’s peace is being destroyed.
In response to continued protests from some of his party supporters, John Mahama assured that he would not allow any member of his party to compromise the peace of the country on his behalf as he is its leader.

“I will not do anything that will endanger the peace of this country. I am peace-loving. I will not encourage people to destroy things. I will not do that.” he said.
