I will not split rent with my husband because it feels like I am contributing to making a mature man irresponsible – says Lady

A Nigerian lady has revealed that she would not split the rent with her boyfriend if they stayed together.

The lady was identified as @Chukulee_ on Twitter and said she would not pay rent with him because she felt it was tantamount to making a grown man irresponsible.

In a recent series of short tweets via her handle, she said that food and other household items can be handled by her.

She further explained that he has to fulfill his responsibilities as a man, because if he does not do it now, how will he handle it when he becomes a man and father?

@Chukulee_ said this while responding to a question from a Twitter user who asked

as ladies living with their boyfriend, it would be okay to split the house rent.

“Curious, if you lived with a boyfriend in Lagos or in any big city, would you be open to renting?” ‘ wrote the Twitter user.

@Chukulee_ replied;
