January 7 declared public holiday

Home Affairs Minister Ambrose Dery has announced on behalf of the Government of Ghana that there will be a public holiday in the country on January 7, 2021.

This was revealed by a statement signed by Home Secretary Ambrose Dery.

The general public is therefore warned to perceive it as such.

The general public is reminded that Thursday 7 January 2021, which is the Constitution, is a legal public holiday and that it should be held as such throughout the country., reads the statement.
