Laycon honored with a Chieftaincy title, “Akeweje Odo of Ipokia Kingdom”.

Agbelese Olamikekan, popularly known as Laycon, was crowned the Akeweje of Ipokia Kingdom in the state of Ogun.

Laycon won the traditional title on Sunday at the Onipokia of Ipokia, Oba Yisa Adesola Olaniyan, during the 2021 Opo Day celebration held at the District High School, Ipokia.

The Onipokia said during the ceremony that Laycon as an indigenous of Ipokia deserves the title Akeweje.

Oba Olaniyan described the fast-rising singer as a good ambassador in Ipokia and a positive inspiration for all Nigerian youth.

The first class Oba further praised Laycon and prayed that he would continue to get up and shine.
