Agbelesebioba Olamikekan, also known as Laycon, winner of the Big Brother Naija in 2020, has been made a chief.
Laycon was installed on Sunday as the Akeweje of Ipokia Kingdom in Ogun State.
On Sunday, he received the traditional title of the Onipokia of Ipokia, Oba Yisa Adesola Olaniyan, during the Opo Day celebration of 2021 held in the District High School, Ipokia.
The Onipokia said during the title installation that Laycon as an indigenous of Ipokia deserves the title of Akeweje.
Oba Olaniyan described the singer as a good ambassador in Ipokia and a positive inspiration for all Nigerian youth.
The first class Oba praised Laycon and prayed that he would stand up and shine.
In response, the BBNaija winner appreciates the monarch, the indigenous Ipokia and the youth for standing by him while in the BBNaija house.
He promised to stand by the youth and everything that would contribute to their development.
Recall that Governor Dapo Abiodun appointed Laycon earlier as the Youth Ambassador of Ogun.
