A man in his thirties is said to have beheaded his mother in Opeinimso, near Asamankese, in the municipality of Lower West Akyem, in the Eastern region.

The sad incident happened on Monday, December 21, 2020, at around 2 a.m., according to a family source, the suspect was identified as Quarcoo went into hiding after committing the act.

According to the Lower West Akyem City Manager of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) familiar with the incident, Starr News and monitored by Ghgossip.com as police have launched a manhunt for the arrest of the suspects.

The body of the deceased – Adwoa Ayare – was recovered from the pool of blood by the police and deposited in the morgue of the Asamankan government hospital.
