Nigerian man remembers when his mother tried to arrest him after he came out as gay

A Nigerian man identified as Vincent Desmond remembered when his mother tried to arrest him after he considered him gay.

Desmond, who writes for Reuters, the British Vogue, among others, made the shocking revelation in a tweet on January 2.

He wrote on Twitter;

“Every now and then I remember trying to arrest my wife when I came out as gay for my mother.”

I remember every now and then that she tried to arrest me when I came out to my mother as gay.
