The singer, the wife of Peter Okoye, Lola Omotayo-Okoye, mourns when her father, boss Oladipo Omotayo, passed away today, December 16.
Lola was sad about the development and went to the IG to share the sad news.
She wrote;
In the early hours of the morning I received some very sad news that brought my family’s world to a standstill.
The death of my beloved papa has hit us all very hard, and while we know it is in a better place, the truth is that there is no easy way to deal with the grief that comes with losing a loved one.
What we can do, however, is to be comforted in the memories He has blessed us with and to turn our hearts to the wonderful person that Papa was; The wonderful, kind and generous person he will always be to us and to the many lives he has touched with his time here on earth.
My family and I would like to thank everyone for the love you showed us during this difficult time.
Your support and kindness has warmed my heart to the core, and words cannot express how much it means to my family and myself. Many Thanks.
