Lil Tjay, an American rapper, was arrested on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 by New York City police officers.
Lil Tjay, who was in a vehicle with four other people when police pulled them over to switch off lanes without signaling, was arrested in Brooklyn and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, marijuana possession and large lariks discussed.
According to a report by TMZ, officer smelled weeds in the car, which led to a search and discovery of 4 loaded handguns and a large quantity of marijuana.
Everyone in the car was booked for charges because neither the rapper nor anyone in the vehicle took possession of the firearms or the weeds. However, it is unclear why they are also facing the large larch charge.
