Singer, Runtown finally reveals who wrote the hit song ‘Aye’, as Davido insists Tspize did

Runtown, a Nigerian artist and producer, has finally revealed who wrote Davido’s hit song ‘Aye’.

Born Douglas Jack Agu, Runtown, announced on Wednesday, December 30 during a question-and-answer session with his followers on the microblogging platform, Twitter.

During the interactive session titled #AskRunTown, a curious fan asked Runtown who wrote Davido’s hit song Aye?

In response to the fan, Runtown reveals that he not only wrote the song, but also co-produced it.

In his words,

“I wrote it. And it also co-manufactures. Nothing wrong with using songwriters if you are writing a song for me and I would love to go sing. ‘

However, there have been controversies over who actually wrote the song. A video of Davido’s recent visit to Ghana captured the moment when the singer said Tspize had written and produced ‘Aye’ for him.
