Anas calls for protection and justice for colleagues as politicians who threaten the lives of journalists

Ghanaian investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has asked authorities to protect his colleague’s journalists who have somehow received death threats due to their work.

The investigative journalist said in a press release from Tiger Eye PI that the act of threatening is barbaric and that it should be condemned.

The statement comes following threats from some journalists and he mentions it: Manasseh Azure, Afia Pokua, Captain Smart, Edward Adeti and many others.

He explained that it is terrible to practice journalism under such circumstances, and that it is dangerous if nothing is done after threats have been made.
