Creative Industry Bill passed in Parliament today

The Minister for Tourism, Art and Culture, Barbara Oteng Gyasi, today confirmed that Parliament has passed the law on the creative arts industry.

Tourism Minister Barbara Oteng Gyasi spoke about the media in front of the parliament building on Thursday.

“So I am pleased to announce that we have passed the Creative Industries Act and that it will soon be approved by the President.”

The minister also said there are plans to set up a creative arts agency that will ensure that various issues the industry is facing are adequately addressed.
