“Last week was difficult, but very informative” – ​​singer Tems speaks after his arrival in Nigeria


Old Nigerian R&B singer Tems has finally spoken about her arrest in Uganda after arriving in Nigeria yesterday, December 17, 2020.

The fast-rising singer described the sad incident as a difficult experience, but also an eye-opener.

Tems talked about her experiences during her incarceration in the Ugandan prison and noticed that she could see things differently than she was used to. She added that her eyes were open to the quarrel and many women and women were injured and children are going through.

The songwriter also announced that she has found a newfound compassion and wants to do more to make people’s lives easier, regardless of the circumstances.

Tems, who made this disclosure in a statement on their social pages, thanked the Nigerian and Ugandan governments as well as their fans and everyone who made sure that the matter was resolved.

“I’m really sad that attendees may have been exposed to COVID-19. I would never have attended if I hadn’t had the slightest knowledge that the event did not conform to Standard Operating Instructions and that the citizens of Uganda were at risk.

“I am grateful to the Ugandan government and everyone behind the scenes who helped resolve this issue.

“The past week was difficult, but very informative for me. I know some might have been concerned, but despite everything, this experience helped me see things for myself. During my imprisonment, I met some amazing women and children. I have newfound compassion and a desire to make life easier for people like these, regardless of the circumstances. “
