Lateef Adedimeji distributes sanitary towels to female students

Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji was handing out sanitary towels to female students in six states today.

The states are Kaduna, Kwara, Ogun, Oyo, Lagos, and Cross River.

The 34-year-old shared a video in an Instagram post on Wednesday from one of the schools he attended.

Adedimeji said it was the youth under his Great Mind Initiative (GMI) who organized a campaign to raise awareness among young girls and the public about menstrual health and hygiene.

He said every girl earned at least one pack of hygiene pillows for free every month.

“Every organization has a core value and goal without which it cannot have a central system for adequate performance.

“If condoms can be free, pads can also be free! #GMI @gmi_network thanks everyone who supported this campaign / project! God bless you, ”he wrote.
