She was born on January 1, 1978 in the Edo birthplace. She is from the city of Benin, the capital of the Edo state. In a family of five, she is the second oldest. She attended Ikeja Comprehensive High School in Lagos, Maryland. She is also a former student of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, State of Oyo, where she obtained her OND in financial studies and subsequently obtained a degree in theater arts from the University of Lagos.
