Nigeria records 749 fresh cases on 29 December

On Tuesday, December 29, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control reported that Nigeria had recorded 747 cases of the coronavirus.

From the data presented by the NCDC, the state of Lagos recorded the highest of the day with 299 cases followed by the Plateau state with 131 cases.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 85,560. Meanwhile, 71,937 patients were released from various isolation centers and 1,267 people died.
