Nigerian lambaste singer, Chike for calling Easterners ‘Pimitive’; he apologizes

Not long after the Nigerian singer, Chike, condemned to his Twitter page the culture of Igbos in different parts of the country and traveled to the East for Christmas.

In the now-removed tweet, Chike described the century-long culture as a primitive behavior that must be stopped. Read ICYMI here

The hitmaker “if you no love me” was scolded by members of the Igbo tribe for his “insensitive” remark.

Moments later, Chike removed the tweet and publicly apologized for his actions. He revealed that he lost two friends this morning who had returned from the east in an accident, and his tweet was carried from a place of grief.
