Hours later, the singer deleted the tweet and then issued a public apology after receiving rave reviews.
The singer noted that the tweet was simply ‘misunderstood’. He also revealed that he was overwhelmed by emotions as he lost only two of his friends in a road accident.
Chike tweeted;
‘I believe my tweet that has now been removed was misunderstood because it was emotional.
This morning, 2 friends died on their way back from town.
I think the roads are too risky for everyone to drive home and back.
If you are hurt, I sincerely apologize. ”
