“Stop traveling to the East for Christmas. It’s a primitive behavior” – Singer, Chike

Popular singer, Chike, went to Twitter to condemn the culture of Igbos in different parts of the country and travel to the East for Christmas.

In the now-removed tweet, Chike described the centuries-old culture as a primitive behavior that must be stopped. According to him, the annual trip is not worth the risk for travelers because the roads are excessively busy during festive season.

He tweeted,

Stop on a trip to the damn East, because it’s Christmas! Is it worth your life ??? Stop the primitive behavior. The roads are busy! Choose another damn time! Plan.
