Recall that some #OccupyLekkiTollGate protesters stormed the toll gate today to protest against the planned reopening of the Lekki toll gate following the alleged murder of protesters on 20 October 2020.

In response to the arrest, Garba argues that as long as they do not cause inconvenience to other citizens, they have the right to protest peacefully as the law allows.
The APC chief wrote to his Twitter account;
As much as the #EndSARS protesters do not block the way for other citizens to move along the #Lekkitollgate, the law allows them the right to peaceful protest
‘After all, it is a principle of democracy that we practice
“All protesters arrested should be released immediately”
