“We have to stop the advocacy of the sexes and adopt the advocacy of the people” – actress Etinosa told activists

Nigerian actress, Etinosa Idemudia has advised activists against advocating gender equality for humanity in general.

The actress, in a post about her Instagram History called for the collective effort of all gender groups to leave out the fight for fairness and equality and the fight for specific genders.

In her opinion, the time has come to move from advocating gender like feminism to advocating people.

She wrote,

“We must stop gender advocacy and move to human advocacy instead of saying that respect makes a man fight only for love and respect for all of humanity. Let’s stop the unconscious gender segregation.

Men with self-help groups against women and women with self-help groups against men. O wrong nau.

I will never be a feminist. I’m a humanist and that’s enough to bring everyone the fairness and equality they deserve.
