A day after giving birth to her son, Youtube star Grace Victory was placed in a medically induced coma.
The message posted on the British vlogger Instagram on Monday 28 December shows that Grace tested positive for COVID-19 two weeks ago, while she was in the third trimester of her pregnancy. Her condition worsened and doctors caused the birth on Christmas Eve 24 December, which would only be in February 2021.
“As you know, on Christmas Eve Grace gave birth to a beautiful baby boy who is currently doing so well, he is amazing,” reads the report. “We love him so much. Grace developed Covid-19 two weeks ago and although her symptoms were initially mild, it got worse as the days went on. What did they mean [to] deliver the baby as soon as possible because she was just too bad to get on with the pregnancy. ”
“The 30-year-old YouTuber entered the ICU the day after the birth and is currently in a medically induced coma.”
“Grace was admitted to intensive care on Christmas Day due to problems with her breathing and therefore they had to decide to put her in an induced coma, to give her body the necessary rest to recover,” the report continued. .
The message said, “She is stable at the moment, but please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.”
Grace, from High Wycombe, is known for her candid videos, where she addressed difficult topics such as eating disorders and mental health.
